Cardinal Exteriors

Cardinal Exteriors is a family-owned company in Portland that replaces siding, installs replacement windows, puts on new roofs and builds new decks. Siding comes in James Hardie fiber cement, vinyl, cedar and composite, and windows are offered in vinyl and wood-clad units, including bay and picture styles, from brands such as Andersen, Marvin, Pella and Integrity. Roofing covers architectural asphalt shingle, metal and cedar, installed with a full tear-off and new flashing.

Every job starts with a free visit from an owner, who measures the house and writes a fixed-price proposal. The company works across Cumberland County, and its crews are used to older Portland houses, salt air in coastal towns and heavier snow inland. Decks are new builds or full replacements rather than repairs, and the work is licensed and insured.
