Kress Law Office

Kress Law Office is a Pocatello criminal defense practice led by David R. Kress, who has more than 35 years of legal experience, including time as a Magistrate Court judge. Most of the work is defending people charged with DUI, from initial court representation through plea bargaining, license reinstatement and early discharge from probation. The office also handles civil and criminal mediation, and Mr. Kress has conducted thousands of mediation sessions.

A free case consultation is offered for DUI cases to review the facts and outline possible defenses. Fees are generally fixed rather than hourly and are paid in advance of representation, with trial days billed separately per day. Cash, check and Venmo are accepted. Visits are by appointment during weekday business hours, and the office is closed on weekends.
