Habilitation Assistance Corporation

Habilitation Assistance Corporation has been supporting individuals in Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod since it was founded in 1983 as a private organization. Its work centers on helping people reach their personal visions and take part as respected members of their communities. Day habilitation, alternative day services, supported living, case management, individualized home supports and transportation make up the core of its programs. Access centers provide group rooms for computer work, fitness classes, a training kitchen, art, and communication and social skills activities.

Services are shaped around each person's choices, and clinicians and staff help build a service plan that fits. The agency runs access centers in Plymouth, Weymouth, the Upper Cape, and the Mid-Cape and Islands, and its administrative office is also in Plymouth. Families can ask about in-home supports and transportation for members who cannot easily get to a center.
