Dettinger Lumber Company, Inc.

Dettinger Lumber is a locally owned lumber yard in Pittsfield that has been supplying builders and homeowners since 1926. The business stocks framing lumber, specialty hardwoods, roofing, siding, insulation and drywall, along with a hardware store that carries tools, fasteners, paint and plumbing supplies.

A staffed design center with full-size displays helps customers plan kitchen remodels, new homes and decks. Delivery is free on same- or next-business-day orders, and special orders can be sourced through a network of suppliers. The store serves Pittsfield and Berkshire County, and job site visits are available by appointment.
