Custom Window Treatments

Custom Window Treatments makes made-to-measure blinds, shades and fabric window treatments, along with designer hardware, motorization, bedding and upholstery work. Its showroom in Pittsfield stocks thousands of fabric samples, and the shop can work from a customer's drawing, photo or magazine picture when a specific look is in mind. Founded in 1975, it grew out of a small shade section in an interior design center into one of the largest window treatment and home decorating centers in the Berkshires.

Visits can happen at the showroom on North Street, where full-size product displays are on view, or customers can book a designer to come to their home. Designers and installers guide the design process from start to finish, and the shop also takes on commercial projects. Motorized treatments can be controlled by remote or switch.
