The Head Spa Sanctuary

The Head Spa Sanctuary is a full-service spa known for its Japanese head spa rituals, which the business calls the first Yume Certified Japanese Head Spa in North Carolina. Beyond scalp care, it offers full-body massage, corrective and Korean skincare facials, zero gravity manicures and pedicures, lash extensions and lifts, body scrubs and wraps, and clinical herbal foot soaks.

The spa is in historic downtown Pineville inside the Samuel Younts House, a late 1800s Victorian home. Guests relax in a lounge with fruit-infused water, tea, coffee or champagne before or after a service. It takes solo guests, couples and groups, with room for up to 14 people in primary treatments at once, and it hosts private events from small foot soak parties to full spa buyouts. Hours run from 9am to 9pm most days, with a 10am opening on Tuesdays.
