FitnessWave AZ

FitnessWave AZ runs body composition and fitness testing, best known for hydrostatic body fat testing, which uses underwater weighing and is widely regarded as the gold standard for measuring body fat. Resting metabolic rate testing and VO2 sub-max testing round out the lineup, giving clients a clearer picture of their metabolism and training results. The business has been serving the fitness community since 1993.

Much of the work happens on the road. The mobile lab visits gyms, boot camps and businesses, and groups of 15 or more can arrange a visit with special rates for challenges and multiple tests. The fixed testing office in Phoenix is temporarily closed, so call or text ahead before planning a visit. Clients receive a confidential results report that staff can use to help set training and nutrition goals.
