Saturday farmers market with local produce, baked goods and crafts3502 E. Cactus Rd., Phoenix, AZ

Roadrunner Farmers Market is a Saturday market held year round in northeast Phoenix, where vendors sell local farm produce, including fresh vegetables and fruit, along with baked goods, honey, nursery stock, natural pork, beef and fish, eggs, and handcrafted items. The market began as a Sunday market in 1989 and moved to Saturdays the following year.
The market sits at Roadrunner Park, between the 51 Freeway and 36th Street near Paradise Valley, so families often combine a stop with time on the park's playground, fishing pond, or soccer fields. Summer hours start earlier in the morning than winter hours. The market accepts EBT and participates in the WIC farmers market program, and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
