Central Shoe Repair and Clothing Alterations is a family-owned repair shop that has been on Central Avenue in mid-Phoenix since 2001. Nerick handles shoe and boot repair, leather repair, shoe shines and key cutting, while Bella does clothing alterations, including wedding, bridesmaid, prom and formal dresses. The shop also repairs watches, changes watch batteries and bands, refurbishes leather jackets and purses, does upholstery repair, and makes custom leather gun holsters, belts and dog leashes.

The shop sits at the northwest corner of Central Avenue and Camelback Road, across from Uptown Plaza. Hours are 8 AM to 6 PM on weekdays and 9 AM to 3 PM on Saturdays, with Sundays closed.
