WHYY

WHYY is a not-for-profit public media organization serving the Philadelphia region, including Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It runs PBS television and public radio stations and produces local programs such as Fresh Air with Terry Gross, You Oughta Know and Studio 2. Its newsroom covers regional news, and its youth media and early education programs work with students at local schools.

The studio at 150 N. 6th Street in Philadelphia is on Independence Mall West, and WHYY also has a studio in Wilmington, Delaware. The station is funded largely by members and hosts more than 50 community events a year. Its rental spaces can be booked for corporate events and meetings, and it accepts volunteers and sponsorships.
