Wax + Wine

Wax + Wine is a candle-making studio in Old City, Philadelphia, where guests hand-pour their own candles from a cellar of more than 60 scents. Guests bring their own wine, champagne or beer, and the studio sets the table. Each 90-minute session includes two 8oz candles per person, and no experience is needed.

Reservations are made online, and the studio also hosts private events for groups of 16 or more, including bridal showers, corporate events and birthday parties. Gift cards are available. The studio is at 144 N 2nd St, and it is open later on weekday evenings and on weekends.
