The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place is an event venue and caterer in Mount Joy, known for home-style food at weddings, anniversary parties, club meetings and sports banquets. Jim and Joanne Pinkerton bought the business in 1986 from the Hostetter Dining facility, which had hosted church functions and community dinners for decades, and the current team aims to keep that same focus on good food served with a smile.

Indoor and outdoor event spaces are available, and catering is handled on site by the in-house kitchen. Banquet menus come as hot buffets, cold buffets and platters, and the kitchen also prepares weekly specials and holiday meals to take home.
