Claudia Mills

Claudia Mills makes handwoven rag rugs in a contemporary palette, using recycled and new fabrics in small-batch production. The studio designs one-of-a-kind rugs as well as custom, site-specific pieces, and offers pillows alongside the rugs. Rugs are woven with 100% cotton yarn, with some made using leather strips.

The showroom and weaving studio is in Old City, Philadelphia, open Tuesday through Saturday, and visitors can see the rugs in person there. Stock rugs ship within one to three days, while rugs woven to order usually ship in two to four weeks. Smaller cotton rugs are machine washable, and larger ones need professional cleaning.
