Midwest Building Performance

Midwest Building Performance evaluates homes and commercial buildings to improve energy efficiency, comfort, and indoor health. Its core service is the energy audit, a whole-building inspection aimed at comfort complaints, high energy bills, and humidity or moisture problems, using diagnostic tools and modeling software. Some audit recommendations can be carried out as a project through its performance contracting work, and the company can offer discounts where utility program incentives apply.

The company also runs blower door and duct pressure tests for IECC energy code compliance, and trains local professionals as a BPI Test Center. Homeowners, business owners, landlords, churches, contractors and apartment managers are among its clients. Its office is in Peoria, and it serves towns across central Illinois, with travel beyond a 60-mile radius of Peoria for an added fee. Quotes are requested through its contact form or by phone.
