Carter Chiropractic and Acupuncture is a chiropractic practice on the north side of Peoria that treats neck and back pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, whiplash, carpal tunnel and effects of injuries. Dr. Jerry Carter, a 1980 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, has more than 40 years of experience and uses several techniques, including Cox Spinal Decompression for herniated discs, stenosis and sciatica. Acupuncture and massage therapy are offered alongside chiropractic care.

The office sees patients by appointment and accepts referrals from medical physicians, pain clinics and the Veterans Administration. Dr. Carter offers a no-charge consultation, and new patients can book online. Care is gentle, with no forceful adjusting, and patients decide how long to continue treatment. The office is in a suite at 1605 West Candletree Drive, with weekday hours in the morning and afternoon.
