Chickpea House

Chickpea House serves Palestinian street food built around chickpeas, including chickpea sandwiches with fries, chickpea nuggets with tahini, chickpea salads, hummus plates and loaded fries. Falafel is hand-rolled daily, the hummus is made from scratch and the pita is baked in-house every morning. Most dishes also come in vegan versions, and the kitchen says it skips shortcuts and preservatives.

The Saufley Field Road location is one of two in Pensacola, with the other on North Pace Boulevard. Orders can be placed online, and the restaurant is open all seven days, so it works for a quick lunch or an early dinner. The menu is short and casual, with fast, simple plates meant to be eaten without a long wait.
