Alla Prima Coffee Roaster

Alla Prima Coffee Roaster is a specialty coffee shop and micro-roastery run by Summer, a former elementary art teacher and Pensacola native who previously owned a small coffee shop near Washington, D.C. The cafe serves retail beverages and food, and also sells retail bags of coffee, merchandise and wholesale coffee. Roasting classes and barista training are offered, and local fine art is displayed in the space, including paintings by Summer herself.

The roastery began as a wholesale operation in 2020 in a back room of a downtown Pensacola building, and the front cafe space was added after Summer left teaching in fall 2023. The shop is at 532 West Garden Street in Pensacola. Orders can be placed online for pickup, and gift cards are available.
