ReStore

ReStore sells donated and purchased furniture, appliances, home décor, building materials, paint, flooring, kitchen cabinets, mattresses, linens and rugs. It is run by San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity, and the proceeds from sales go back into building affordable homes for local families. The Pasadena location is a large store across two floors, and it also houses a marketplace where more than 20 local vendors and artisans sell handmade, upcycled and vintage goods.

New merchandise arrives nearly every day, and new arrivals carry colored price tags that change weekly. Prices are firm, but items that stay for more than 14 days are marked down automatically. Items can't be held, so purchases must be picked up within one business day, by 5pm. Donations can be dropped off Tuesday through Saturday, and the team will pick up larger donations. Call ahead on donation days, since volume changes daily. Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted, but checks are not. Online orders are picked up at the Pasadena store.
