Hand repair and restoration of fine furniture since 1929Menlo Park, CA
The Barn Woodshop repairs, restores, canes and refinishes furniture, mostly by hand. The shop has been at one bench since 1929, and the work is handed from one craftsman to the next. The pieces it handles are mainly family furniture that owners plan to keep for a long time.
The shop works out of an 1885 barn in Menlo Park, California, on a Spanish land grant, and it is part of the Allied Arts Guild. Anyone with a piece to bring in can send a photograph first to ask for an estimate, or bring the piece to the shop directly.
