Palm Desert Tennis Club

Palm Desert Tennis Club is a membership community of 100 condominium homes on 20 acres in South Palm Desert, built around eight tennis courts, a 55-foot heated lap pool and what the club describes as the valley's only indoor squash court. Clinics, private lessons and match play run out of the pro shop, led by Tennis Pro Leif Nordlund and Tennis Coordinator Melanie Nordlund.

Membership opens the remodeled clubhouse, which has indoor and outdoor seating, two kitchen areas, a library, ping pong and a fitness center. The social committee plans themed dinner parties, live music, potlucks and trivia nights, and weekly card games and mahjong draw regulars. The community sits just minutes uphill from El Paseo, and the office keeps weekday hours.
