LAURA J EVENTS

Laura J Events is a wedding and event planning business run by Laura Josefina Kelly, who has more than 20 years in the event industry. Her work began with press events for fashion brands in New York and later included golf tournaments and galas for international nonprofits, before she moved into weddings in 2010. Services range from a final-details package in the eight weeks before a wedding to partial planning and design, and full-service planning from start to finish.

She limits the number of events she takes each year, so each couple gets close attention. The business also has an in-house floral design team. Bookings are made by inquiry through the website or by email, and the company is based at a McCarthy Street address in Palm Desert.
