D & S Fabricators

D & S Fabricators is a Hunter Douglas dealer in Palm Desert that makes custom window coverings, including blinds, shades, shutters and drapery. Its product range covers sheer shades, roller and cellular shades, Roman and woven shades, wood, metal and fabric blinds, vinyl and composite shutters, and custom drapes. The business also builds personalized frames in its own wood shop.

The company works through a consultation: an expert helps choose the product, a professional measures the windows and provides a quote, and certified Hunter Douglas installers handle the installation. The showroom sits inside a large production facility with a wide choice of fabric and trim. The shop is at 41801 Corporate Way in Palm Desert, open weekdays, with Saturday visits by appointment only.
