Specialty food shops in Omaha

Specialty food shops sell foods and drinks that go beyond a standard grocery aisle, often made in small batches or chosen for a particular taste. Many of them offer treats such as ice cream, waffle cones, ice cream sandwiches, floats, fresh cookies and bottled sodas, along with coffee and tea, and some also carry items like apothecary remedies or custom bath soaks. Services and stock vary from shop to shop, so the listing is a good place to start. Before you visit, call to confirm hours, since some shops close early or change schedules on certain days. If you are buying for a party or gift, ask ahead whether they can prepare a larger order or pack items for you, and check whether custom soaks or remedies need a few days' notice.
