Hooks Chill & Grille

Hooks Chill & Grille is a Mexi-Caribbean bar and grill serving baja-style food alongside traditional Maine entrees. The menu covers tacos and burritos as well as fish tacos, grilled tuna, shrimp, chicken and haddock, with many dishes built around fresh Maine seafood. The drink list pairs classic Caribbean cocktails, such as a rum punch, with Maine-inspired options like a blueberry lemonade, plus a lineup of Maine craft beers.

The restaurant hosts live music on some nights, often with local musicians and bands, and draws a mix of vacationing families and locals. It also hosts surfing-related events and is a popular spot to watch Patriots and Red Sox games. Takeout is available. The restaurant is closed for the season and plans to reopen in May 2027.
