Dog Dayz of California

Dog Dayz of California offers dog boarding, daycare and grooming in Northeast Oceanside. Boarding is described as upscale and stress-free, and the daycare runs all day in one of three supervised indoor and outdoor play yards. Grooming is done by the facility's professional staff in an on-site spa.

New dogs are eased into group play at their own pace, and staff take extra time with nervous dogs before they join the big yard. The boarding rate includes a full day of daycare, medications and food, which the business says avoids add-on charges for extras. Facility tours are available during open hours. The 12,500 square-foot building sits one block south of Oceanside Boulevard, between College Boulevard and Melrose Avenue. Sunday hours are split, and Saturday closes later than weekdays.
