The Shift Chiropractic

The Shift Chiropractic is a chiropractic clinic that treats neck and back pain, headaches, tech neck, sports injuries, TMJ and jaw pain, and extremity complaints in the shoulder, knee, ankle and hip. It also offers prenatal, postnatal and pediatric care, and sees patients who come in to maintain how they move. Two chiropractors, Dr. Ben Glass and Dr. Irina Velichko, share the week, and the clinic has been open since 2013.

No referral is needed, and same-day appointments are often available since a doctor is in six days a week. Walk-ins are not taken, so booking by phone or online is the way in. The clinic does not bill insurance directly but accepts HSA and FSA funds, and it offers payment plans. Care is available in English, Spanish and Russian, depending on the doctor. The office sits on the corner of 8th and Broadway in Downtown Oakland, close to Jack London Square and Uptown.
