Straus Carpets

Straus Carpets sells and installs carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl, waterproof flooring, linoleum, cork and tile from its showroom in Oakland. The company has been around since 1981 and says it puts service ahead of sales, stocking most well-known carpets, area rugs, Forbo, vinyl, hardwood and laminates.

You can visit the showroom to see flooring in person, or schedule a visit where samples are brought to your home. Free in-home estimates are available, and financing can be arranged out of escrow. Homeowners, contractors, interior designers and real estate agents all work with the company, and it is licensed, bonded and insured.
