Oakland Venue Management

Oakland Venue Management is a project management and event production firm that runs venues, produces live events and manages placemaking projects around Oakland. The company has been producing events and managing projects in the city since it launched in 2008, and it also rents sound systems. Its work centers on arts activation and neighborhood improvement, often in partnership with local arts groups and youth development programs.

OVM works with clients from a range of industries and with organizations whose goals align with its own. Its leadership has ties to the Oakland Business Improvement District community and the city's downtown associations. The office is at 1736 Franklin Street in downtown Oakland, and the team is based in that suite.
