Oakland Tree Service

Oakland Tree Service handles tree removal, pruning, trimming, emergency tree removal, stump grinding, tree health care, cabling and bracing, and land or lot clearing. The crew is known for careful climbing and rigging on tight urban lots, and the site listings say they assess species-specific needs and signs of disease such as sudden oak death before any cutting begins. Stumps and cut branches are cleared and hauled away after removal work.

The company is locally owned and licensed and insured, and it offers free on-site estimates. Its listed service area covers Oakland along with Berkeley, Alameda, Piedmont, Emeryville, San Leandro and Hayward. Emergency removal is offered for storm-damaged or leaning trees. Homeowners who need a tree removed in Oakland should check with the city about permits for protected or heritage trees first.
