Oakland Hills Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine offers dermatology-focused Chinese medicine, with David Heron, DACM, L.Ac, leading acupuncture, individualized herbal therapy and skin consultations for conditions such as eczema. Treatments also include microneedling for scars and texture, and massage therapy from Lucien Klein, CMT, who works with deep tissue and myofascial techniques.

Visits can be in person or by telemedicine, where patients send photos ahead of time for review. Herbs are prepared in the office and taken twice daily, and herbal costs are billed separately. Massage appointments run on weekday evenings and Sundays, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted, though not every plan covers herbal medicine.
