Its About Cars

Its About Cars is a used car dealership that has operated on West MacArthur Boulevard in Oakland since 1990, after starting in Los Angeles in 1984. The lot keeps a mix of four-cylinder gas savers along with six- and eight-cylinder models, with Japanese makes, Hyundai and Kia, and some European brands like Volvo, BMW and Mercedes. The owners say they favor older cars for the value that has already depreciated.

Sales are handled by appointment, and the dealership offers test drives on its premium used vehicles. It also advertises a financing program with no credit checks and no finance charge. Since the lot draws from dealer auctions several times a week, customers can call to ask whether a specific make or model is coming up at one of the auctions the dealership attends.
