California Center for Functional Medicine is a practice of medical doctors, nurse practitioners, health coaches and nutritionists that looks for root causes of chronic and hard-to-explain symptoms. Its focus areas include gut health, hormone imbalances, metabolic disorders, tickborne diseases such as Lyme disease, mold and toxicity exposure, and sleep problems. The center also runs a women's hormone clinic for perimenopause and menopause.

Care is largely virtual and built around testing, group visits and ongoing memberships. New patients can start with an intake form or a phone call, followed by a free discovery call to choose a care path. Free video workshops and self-assessment quizzes are also available. The practice has been operating since 2007.
