Culinary Eye

Culinary Eye is a full-service experiential caterer and hospitality group that plans events from concept to execution. Its work centers on weddings, corporate gatherings, conferences and private celebrations, with menus built from scratch around each event's theme, season and guest preferences. Services include gourmet catering, bar service, event staffing, venue sourcing and event design, along with cooking classes.

The team works directly with venues, including those without a built-in kitchen, and can build a temporary outdoor kitchen on site or switch to chef-designed cold and no-heat menus. Dietary needs such as gluten-free, vegan and nut-free are handled within the menu design. Clients are encouraged to reach out early, often three to twelve months ahead for busy seasons. The business is based at 24th Street in Oakland.
