BrushPros

BrushPros clears brush, weeds and overgrown yards for homeowners, HOAs and commercial properties, with a focus on fire abatement. Work includes brush and weed clearing, small tree trimming and pruning, yard cleanups, poison oak removal and ivy removal, with the crew hauling away debris. The company says its work is designed to pass fire inspections and offers a guarantee on that, excluding future regrowth.

The business traces its roots to 1982, when it began clearing overgrowth with goats, and it is now a family-owned operation. Crews use commercial hand-held power equipment and are moving to electric tools. BrushPros works mainly across Oakland, Orinda and Lafayette, with service in nearby East Bay towns, and is based at 6114 La Salle Ave in Oakland.
