Big Family Movers

Big Family Movers is a moving company based in Oakland that handles residential, senior, commercial and nonprofit moves, and has been in business since 2001. Its crews offer full-service moves, senior downsizing, professional packing and long-distance moving, with extra care for fragile items and heirlooms. Special rates are available for seniors, single parents and nonprofits.

Every job starts with a walkthrough at the beginning and end so the crew knows what matters most. Pricing is hourly, with no added charges for stairs, long walks or large furniture. The company also works with assisted living facilities and senior communities across the Bay Area. For moves outside the local area, it loads a container for a partner trucking company and the destination is handled by a local mover. Big Family Movers is licensed by the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services and insured.
