Taco Guy

Taco Guy serves modern Mexican street food at its restaurant in Norwalk and from a food truck. Carnitas and pork belly tacos are among the house favorites, alongside fried avocado, botanas, entrees and cocktails. Owner Adrian Hurtado, who previously worked in New York City, makes the carnitas from a secret recipe and presses handmade heirloom Oaxacan tortillas.

The restaurant takes table reservations and is open most evenings starting at 4 PM, with later closing times Thursday through Saturday. The truck goes to festivals, private parties and corporate events, and the team also caters celebrations. Event requests come through a form on the website, and the team says it replies within a day.
