The Inside Scoop is an ice cream shop that makes over 64 flavors of ice cream by hand each day on the premises. The menu runs from classic flavors like Butter Pecan and Chocolate Chip to Oreo, Heath Bar and Cotton Candy varieties, plus rotating specials. Ice cream cakes for events, milkshakes, sundaes, parfaits, smoothies and soft serve are also on the menu, and waffle cones are made in house.

The shop offers a non-dairy line made on a coconut and oat base, and a no-sugar-added option. Ice cream cakes should be ordered by phone at least two weeks ahead. There is outdoor seating and an expanded parking area. The shop is on Ten Rod Road in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, and sells gift cards.
