Macho Pichu rotisserie Chicken & cantina

Macho Pichu is a rotisserie chicken and cantina serving Peruvian-style chicken marinated in its own spice mix and roasted over hardwood charcoal. The menu also includes chicken empanadas, a seasonal chicken pot pie, chili lime wings, and sandwiches such as a chicken cubano and a fried pickle brined chicken thigh on a bun.

Chicken comes as a quarter, half, or whole bird, or as a family-style combo with red beans and rice or steak fries. Guests can dine in or carry out. The restaurant is at 1813 Reynolds Avenue in North Charleston. Owner and chef Munir Hamdan leads the kitchen.
