Sword fish sushi

Swordfish Sushi is a contemporary sushi restaurant that has served Batavia since spring 2004. The menu centers on fresh sushi and a range of specialty rolls, with cooked kitchen entrees for diners who would rather skip raw fish. The fish is specially ordered from overseas, and the drink list includes Japanese and American beers, wines and signature martinis.

Chef John Lee has run the restaurant since acquiring it in March 2019, after years at his family's sushi restaurants in the Chicago suburbs. Dinner service runs most evenings, with weekday lunch on Fridays and longer hours on weekends. Reservations can be requested online, the restaurant delivers through Uber Eats and DoorDash, and it caters special events and parties.
