Sit Stay Newtown

Sit Stay Newtown is a family-run dog care business on a 20-acre farm in Newtown. It offers boarding, day care, training, grooming and in-home dog sitting. Heather Roberts started the business in 2003 as a favor to friends, and the Roberts family has lived and worked in Newtown for over 60 years. Trainer Harry Vitello is a former police K9 handler who also works with some dogs that haven't had success elsewhere.

Boarding is open 365 days a year, and each dog sleeps in its own climate-controlled kennel space with a rug, bed and bowls. Day care has large indoor and outdoor play yards and runs weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed on major holidays. Weekend drop-off windows are short, so call ahead. Home visits for walks, feeding and overnight stays are offered when staff is available. The business is at 550 Washington Crossing Road in Newtown, Bucks County.
