Dominion Physical Therapy

Dominion Physical Therapy has provided outpatient rehabilitation in the Hampton Roads area since 1990, when it was founded by physical therapist Dr. Allen R. Jones, Jr. The practice treats back and neck pain, shoulder and knee problems, SI joint injuries, sports injuries, injuries from car accidents and work, and recovery after surgery. Its licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists work as part of a managed care team with physicians, nurses and clinical case managers.

Referrals start with a phone call, and appointments are usually scheduled soon after a referral or physician order arrives. Offices are open on weekdays, and the practice accepts Medicare and Medicaid along with a number of managed care plans. The Newport News office is on Denbigh Boulevard, and the separate pediatric center in the City Center area serves children from infancy through age 21 with physical, occupational and speech therapy.
