Whit's Frozen Custard is a frozen custard shop serving vanilla and chocolate custard made fresh daily, plus a rotating flavor of the day or week. The custard can be ordered as scoops, Whitsers (blended with toppings), Whitties (custard sandwiched between two cookies), shakes, sundaes and floats. The family-run Newnan location is a franchise, the first Georgia Whit's, which opened in June 2020.
The shop is open daily from noon, closing at 8:30 PM Sunday through Thursday and at 10 PM on Friday and Saturday. Cakes can be ordered, and catering and gift cards are available. Dairy-free, vegan and sugar-free options are listed, and many flavors of the week are gluten free, though the shop cannot guarantee against cross-contamination. The shop is just before the Coweta County Recreation Center, around the corner from Elm Street Elementary.
