The Half Shell Oyster Bar & Hot Dog Shop

The Half Shell pairs an oyster bar with a hot dog shop, serving raw oysters, chili dogs and fried seafood alongside pork, chicken and beef barbecue platters. The menu also includes a seafood platter, fried shrimp, a Half Shell salad and crab and tuna dips. The concept comes from the oyster bars and hot dog stands common around Dothan, Alabama, which owners Natalie and Blaine Pitchford grew up with.

Most people eat in, but the restaurant also offers delivery through DoorDash for those who would rather eat at home. It is open Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays. The restaurant is in East Newnan, Georgia, and its interior was recently remodeled.
