Waldorf School of New Orleans

Waldorf School of New Orleans teaches children from early childhood through eighth grade using the Waldorf curriculum, which combines the arts, academics, hands-on learning and a connection to the natural world. Lessons are shaped around each child's developmental stages, with the aim of raising free-thinking, socially responsible young people. Programs include a parent and child class, early childhood, grades, after school, athletics and summer camp.

Families can book a tour of the historic St. Rose campus on Bayou Road, or request a private tour by email or phone if none of the scheduled times work. The school also operates the Peniston Early Childhood Center as a separate site. Prospective families can send an inquiry to get information about the school, upcoming events and admissions.
