Music stores in New Orleans

Music stores help people find instruments, recordings, sheet music and gear, and many also carry books, vinyl, DVDs, posters and gift certificates. If you are shopping for a particular album, reissue or instrument part, call ahead to ask whether the store has it in stock or can order it, and whether used copies or trade-ins are offered. If you plan to visit on a special release day, such as Record Store Day, check the store's posted hours first, since limited releases often sell out early and hours can change on holidays. Ask about gift certificates too if you are buying for someone else.
