Neighborhood bar in a former 1930s grocery with bar food440 South Saint Patrick Street, New Orleans, LA

Mid City Yacht Club is a neighborhood bar in a building that began as Salvaggio's Grocery in the mid-1930s. The menu covers classic American bar food, including mozzarella sticks, fried pickle chips, nachos, buffalo chicken wings, shrimp tacos and bacon cheeseburgers, along with draft beer and bottled drinks. Much of the interior is built from wood salvaged after Hurricane Katrina flooded the building.
Online ordering is available for takeout and delivery. Private parties and catering are arranged by contacting the bar with your group size, date and food and drink needs. Only guests 21 and over are allowed, and the courtyard and bathroom are ADA compliant. The bar sits across from St. Patrick Park and opened in June 2007.
