Seasonal French and Italian-inspired cooking in a historic corner drugstore3637 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA

Lilette is a French and Italian-inspired restaurant on Magazine Street, known for a menu that changes with the seasons while keeping longtime favorites like bouillabaisse and duck confit. Chef and owner John Harris opened it in 2001 in a late-1800s corner drugstore, and it has been on many local best-of lists since.
The dining room is dimly lit and wine-colored, with a patio for dining outdoors. Reservations can be made online, and the restaurant is open for dinner on Mondays and for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sundays. Chef Harris also runs Bouligny Tavern next door, and co-owner Edward Charles has hosted the Gemellis pop-up on some Sundays.
