Handmade soaps and soy candles, plus make-your-own candle sessionsNew Albany, IN
Wimsatt Soap & Soy Candle Bar sells natural bar soaps, body lotions, soy candles and wax melts, plus laundry products, car diffusers and perfume. Its best-known draw is the candle making bar, where guests pour their own soy candles using scents they choose from the fragrance library. The shop also hosts fundraisers, pop-up events and a birthday club.
Candle making seats can be booked online, so it's worth reserving ahead for a group. Shoppers can order online or buy gift cards, and the shop runs a loyalty program. The store is at 225 Pearl Street in New Albany, Indiana, and is closed on Mondays.
