Nonprofits & charities in New Albany

Nonprofits and charities are organizations that work for a public good rather than profit. Many run programs, hand out funds or grants, offer counseling, or provide training, and some help donors plan gifts over time. The services listed here are things such organizations often offer, though any single one may focus on only a few. Before you reach out, ask what the group does, who it serves, and how donations or referrals are used. You can check whether a group is registered with the state and review its most recent annual report or financial summary. If you need help soon, call ahead, since staff and hours can change.
