Bart's Kitchen & Bakery

Bart's Kitchen & Bakery is a homestyle grab-n-go market in downtown Murfreesboro, making lunches, casseroles, soups, chowders and baked goods from scratch in its own kitchen. The weekly rotation of soups and casseroles starts on Tuesdays, and classic casseroles like Beef Stroganoff, Chicken Divan and Poppyseed Chicken are kept stocked in the fridge or freezer. Bart's also carries products from other local small businesses in its retail area.

Most items are ready to heat and eat, or bake and serve at home. Pre-paid orders and customized orders need two to three business days notice and can be placed by phone or email, with payment due at ordering. There is no delivery, but ordered items can be brought out to your car when you park in front of the shop. Bart's is just off the historic square at 117 E. Vine Street, marked by its black and white awning.
